Twinwood Loop is in Highland Reserve. It’s one of the best-known Christmas light streets in Roseville, listed by Macaroni Kid Roseville and described on a local lights-tour page as more than twenty houses. If you live on the loop or a block off it, you already feel the pressure. Highland Reserve Christmas light installation from Light Up Christmas Light Installation covers the ladder work, the lights, the timer and January removal. Reach us at (916) 776-8436.
No HOA on most streets
Most single-family homes here carry no monthly HOA. The Highland Reserve Neighborhood Association is a volunteer group of residents and doesn’t regulate decorations. So for most of you, start and end dates are your call. If your particular tract does have an association, read its current rules and pass them along when you phone (916) 776-8436. We’ll fit the schedule to them.
Trees that are 25 years old change the job
This neighborhood was developed mainly in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The street trees are now past 25 years old and the blocks feel shaded and established. For lighting, that means three things.
- Tree wraps look right here. A thick trunk holds a wrap evenly. The wrap climbs the trunk and continues onto the main scaffold limbs when the tree has them. The wrap sits firm so a north wind doesn’t slide it. It never gets cinched, because a trunk that size is still growing.
- Canopy hides rooflines. A big tree in front of a second-story gable blocks it from the street. We’d rather tell you that from your photo than hang lights no one sees. Sometimes the answer is the lower eave, the garage and the tree itself.
- Leaves fill gutters. Gutter clips seat on the lip, and a gutter packed with leaves makes them sit crooked. If yours are full, we clip to the roof edge on that run.
One-story and two-story production homes
You’ll find both here, sometimes side by side. On a one-story plan the whole roofline is reachable with a medium ladder. A two-story plan puts the top gable well above that, and it gets the tall ladder. Roofing isn’t one material across the neighborhood, so the picture you send settles which clip goes on. A shingle clip gets slipped under the shingle edge without breaking the seal strip. Stucco and painted fascia get no fasteners of any kind.
Highland Reserve Christmas light installation near the display streets
Besides Twinwood Loop, a house on Palomino Court is on the same Macaroni Kid list. Living near a known display has practical effects:
- If cars come down your block to see the loop, timers matter. We set lights to be on when the traffic comes and off when it stops.
- People see the side of a corner house, not just the front. Tell us if you’re on a corner.
- Neighbors compare. A ruler-straight roofline and evenly wound columns hold up next to the house with the giant inflatables.

Ground level: columns, walks, doors
Porch posts get pillar wraps, wound at a steady pitch from base to cap. Stake lighting lines the walk or the driveway edge, and we place stakes between sprinkler heads, not on them. A lit wreath goes above the garage or on the door, hung without a nail. Lit garland wraps the door surround or a porch rail. Everything ties back to one or two outlets. More on trees is on our tree wrapping page.
Start with a phone call or a picture
Pricing doesn’t take a trip to your house. Call (916) 776-8436 and describe the house, or text or email pictures taken from the far sidewalk. Include any tree you want wrapped. We bring every strand, and in January all of it gets unclipped and hauled off.
We’re around Vencil Brown Park and Buljan Middle School often, and the Galleria is right across the street, so this end of town is on our route all season. We also work Stoneridge, Diamond Oaks and the rest of Roseville. To book Highland Reserve Christmas light installation, use (916) 776-8436 or the contact page.
Highland Reserve quick answers
Is Twinwood Loop in Highland Reserve?
Yes. Twinwood Loop falls inside the city’s Highland Reserve neighborhood area, and it’s on Macaroni Kid Roseville’s list of neighborhood light displays.
Does Highland Reserve have an HOA rule on Christmas lights?
Most single-family homes here have no HOA, and the neighborhood association is a volunteer group. If your tract has its own association, check its current rules.
Can you wrap a large, mature street tree?
Yes. Thick trunks take wraps well. We cover the trunk and main limbs we can reach safely from a ladder and remove everything in January.
A tree blocks my second-story roofline. Should I still light it?
Maybe not. Send a street photo and we’ll tell you which runs will be seen and which won’t.
