Lennar put solar on all 493 homes here, so the first rule of a Heritage Solaire Christmas light installation is where lights do not go: nowhere near the panels, their rails or their conduit. Everything stays on the eave and the gutter line. Light Up Christmas Light Installation supplies the lights, clips them on, sets a timer and removes them in January.

    Gate entry first

This is a gated community, so our truck needs to be on your guest list or have entry arranged for two dates: install day and removal day. Mention it when you call (916) 776-8436 and we’ll get you what the gate needs.

    The association

The Heritage Solaire Community Association runs this 55-plus community in Roseville. FirstService Residential manages it, with a general manager on site at the Sol Centre on Element Lane. Its public website says the community is guided by CC&Rs and Operating Standards meant to preserve the look of homes and common areas, and that there is architectural oversight. The documents themselves are in the resident portal. We haven’t seen any holiday decoration language, so we won’t state dates or limits. Please look in the portal or ask the office, then tell us what applies. We schedule to it.

How we work in any managed community:

    • Clips, not fasteners. No holes in stucco, trim or roofing.
    • Cords follow trim lines and downspouts and stay off sidewalks.
    • Timers shut the display off at night.
    • We light your home only. Common green space, the gates and the clubhouse are the association’s.
    • Removal in January, on the date you give us.

One street-side photo is enough here

Nobody needs to come by for a price. Call (916) 776-8436, or send one street-side photo by text or email. Expect a question or two on roof type and outlet location. Our installation service page goes further into the roof work.

Heritage Solaire Christmas light installation on a solar roof

Lennar built these homes from 2018 to 2022 in three collections: Meridian, Larissa and Eclipse. All have first-floor primary suites. Tell us if yours has a second story so the right ladder comes. Roofline lights sit at the roof’s edge only, on whichever clip that edge takes, which keeps us at the perimeter and away from the array. We work from the ladder and don’t climb past the eave. Nobody steps between panels. Power is separate too. Holiday lights plug into a regular outdoor outlet on a timer and never touch the solar equipment or its disconnect.

    Low-water yards and young trees

Front yards were planted for low water use, and the trees are only a few years old. A young trunk can take a light tree wrap if it stands without support stakes. If the tree is still staked, we leave it alone.

Stake lighting works well along the front walk. Where drip irrigation runs under rock and bark, stakes go in by hand in spots where we can see there’s no tubing. If your entry has posts, they get pillar wraps. A lit wreath suits the front door or the wall beside the garage, hung from a hanger or strap. Lit garland frames the front door. Cords run to a regular outdoor outlet on a timer, with the connection kept off the ground. A section that goes dark mid-season is a call to (916) 776-8436.

    The neighborhood contest next door

The community sits within the city’s Solaire neighborhood area. The Solaire Neighborhood Association, a volunteer group separate from your HOA, runs the West Roseville Christmas House Decorating Contest. In 2025 the Light show or Production category went to a house on Splendor Lane in the Solaire area. If you’d like to enter, check that it’s fine under your own community’s standards first, then ring (916) 776-8436 so the street side gets planned for it.

We also hang lights at The Club at WestPark, another 55-plus community, in Fiddyment Farm and across Roseville. Send pictures or a note through the contact page. Whatever goes up comes back down in January, and the panels never know we were there.

    Heritage Solaire quick answers

Can Heritage Solaire Christmas light installation work around rooftop solar?

Yes. Everything clips along the eave and gutter only, and we don’t go near the panels, rails or wiring. The lights run from a normal outdoor outlet.

Have you read the Heritage Solaire Operating Standards on decorations?

No. They’re in the resident portal, so we don’t quote dates. Check the portal or ask the Sol Centre office and we’ll schedule to match.

What does the Heritage Solaire gate need from me on install day?

You put our crew on your guest list twice: once for hanging day and once for the January removal. Both days get settled with you beforehand.

Can you stake lights in a rock and drip yard?

Yes, carefully. Stakes go in by hand where no drip tubing is visible, and we keep them shallow.
