Getting a light crew into Morgan Creek, the gated golf community with a Roseville address just outside the city limits, starts at the staffed gatehouse. So before anything else we ask for gate clearance in your name for install day and again for removal. After that, Morgan Creek Christmas light installation is about scale: custom homes on lots of roughly half an acre to more than an acre, tall elevations and long frontages.
The HOA and its rules
This is a gated community with a master association, and the Lake Community and Golf Villas each have their own budget inside it. We could not find the governing documents posted publicly, so we won’t quote a display period here. Rules and enforcement policies change, so get the current copy from management before you settle on an install week. Relay what they tell you when you call (916) 776-8436, and the hang date plus the January takedown get booked inside it.
Whatever the rules turn out to be, the work is clip-mounted, the cords stay off the walks and the private street, timers shut it off late, and the gatehouse, entry features and common-area trees are left to the association.
Quoting an estate lot from photos
Phone works, and so do pictures texted or emailed to us. For a house this size, send the front, each side you want lit, the driveway and any outlets you know of. Call (916) 776-8436 to start. We supply the lights, do the ladder work and return in January to take it all down, so nothing gets stored at your place.
Roofs on Mediterranean, Tuscan and French Country homes
Development started in 2003 around the golf club, with custom estates plus semi-custom villages by JMC Homes and Lakemont Homes. The styles are Mediterranean, Tuscan and French Country, and the roof decides the method. If yours is tile, clips ride the tile edge or the gutter and nobody walks it. On a steep pitch, each section gets worked from the ladder at the eave. More ladder moves, cleaner result. A big custom has a main ridge, a garage wing and sometimes more. We map which lines carry roofline lights so the outline reads as one house from the street.
Morgan Creek Christmas light installation on a large lot
A long frontage changes the power plan. One outlet by the front door won’t reach a tree at the far corner without a cord run, and a long run across lawn is what we avoid. We look for outlets at the garage, in planter beds and on the back patio, then split the display so no single outlet carries everything. If rain trips one, the rest stays lit. Each section gets its own timer set to the same hours. A dead strand in mid-December is a (916) 776-8436 call, and we handle it.
Tree wraps earn their keep here. The private streets are tree-lined and the custom lots have large trees of their own. We wrap trunks and reach into the first limbs, and our tree wrapping service page says more about how. Stake lighting suits a long driveway or the curve of a front walk, with stakes kept off sprinkler heads. Entry columns, on the houses that have them, take pillar wraps. Lit wreaths go on gables or over garage bays, and lit garland dresses the front door or a rail.
Fairway and lake lots
Some lots back to Morgan Creek Golf Club or to the private lake and its walking path. If golfers or neighbors on the lake walk see your back elevation, think about lighting it. A rear roofline plus one wrapped tree is usually enough.
We do the same kind of fairway work in Woodcreek Oaks, another golf course neighborhood, and across Roseville. The contact page reaches the same crew. Put the rear photo in with the rest, and the lake side gets quoted along with the street side.
Morgan Creek quick answers
How does your crew get through the Morgan Creek gate?
You arrange clearance for us with the gatehouse for the install date and the January removal date. We’ll give you the details the gate needs when we schedule.
What are Morgan Creek’s HOA rules for Christmas lights?
We haven’t found the governing documents posted publicly, so we don’t quote dates. Ask management for the current rules and we’ll plan the job around them.
Is there a color rule for holiday lights in Morgan Creek?
We haven’t found one in any association document we could read, and the governing documents aren’t posted publicly. Ask management before you choose, and we’ll hang whatever the current rules allow.
Do you light the back of homes on the golf course or lake?
Yes. Send photos of the rear elevation with your others and we’ll include it in the quote.
